July 18, 2009 Dustin & Stacia

Well I'm finally posting some key photos from last weekend's wedding. We had such a great time shooting Stacia and Dustin. One of the most nicest couples I have ever met! Not only was the wedding beautiful but the weather could not have been better. Of course I could not have pulled it off like I did without the help from Gabe Mass and Dylan Mannakee. Gabe is awesome and goes without saying but Dylan really surprised me. Dylan was such a great help and at the same time got some awesome pictures. Not bad for first time wedding assistant! Here are some key photos that really caught my eye during my initial post processing. One is of Dustin near a window at the church with soft sunlight coming in. One of my favorite wedding shots that I typically shoot of the groom.

The next shot shows just how fun and crazy the wedding party could be. I Absolutely love this shot!

All in all Saturday July 18th, 2009 will go down in my book as an extremely successful wedding shoot and I'm sure will be a memorable one for Dustin and Stacia. So Dustin and Stacia, my deepest thanks for a beautiful wedding and best wishes to the two of you. Thank you again, Andy.

Lunch at Santorini's

Today was a great day. Sleeping in late, well somewhat, and enjoying a fine cup of coffee was a fine way to start the day. My only thing on my schedule was to meet my friend Gabe at a Greek restaurant. This meant Santorini's. If you've never been to Santorini's you are really missing out. By far the best Greek restaurant in the city. The meeting was more than our usual fun and laughs intermixed with an unbelievable amount camera talk. It was here that Gabe introduced me to Dylan. Well what do you know Dylan is crazy about photography too. I was so impressed with Dylan's desire and ambition towards photography that I offered Dylan to come along and assist/shoot during my next wedding. Yes, Dustin and Stacia you two are getting three wild and crazy guys to shoot your wedding. It will be a great time. Afterwards we took the opportunity to shoot with my favorite camera, a Canon 5D, and with my favorite lens, the Canon 50mm f/1.4. Oh yes, they were shot at f/1.4!
